05.15.22 | UNCONDITIONAL HOPE
We all have expectations, but life does not always go as we would like. Sometimes, we are faced with situations that drain our hope, but biblical hope is not circumstantial nor conditional. It is not the same as optimism. The living hope we receive from Christ’s resurrection is a hope which raises us into new life, and it happens right now! No matter what circumstances we face, we can choose to have hope, and that hope defies any expectations of this world.

06.05.22 | HOPE IN THE FACE OF SUFFERING
The resurrection hope of Jesus Christ changes everything: In our weakness, we discover strength. In our grief, we discover comfort. In our suffering, we discover wholesomeness. 06.05.22 | PENTECOST: SUSTAINABLE HOPE
This Sunday is Pentecost, and we have the pleasure of hearing a message from Dale Hippensteel. In his message, Dale will be referencing a popular buzzword — sustainability. We are looking for sustainability in energy, supply chains, spending, and the list goes on. What about hope? For many of us hope seems to come and go with our changing circumstances. Is there such a thing as ‘sustainable hope’? The Bible says there is. In Ephesians chapter 1, the Apostle Paul prays that the eyes of our hearts will be open to see that as believers we have a hope that comes with great power! That is ‘sustainable hope’ for every day and every situation of life.

06.12.22 | HOPE FOR THE FUTURE
Even though we may walk through the shadow of death, God gives an undeniable hope for the future. As light has the tendency to shine brighter in dark places, the hope given to us from God is more realized in the moment of bleakness. This foreseeable hope will help us to endure the difficulties of life, keep us faithful to God, and give us an expectant joy for the future.
