The Book of Acts shows us that God’s Kingdom cannot be contained to a building. When we encounter Jesus, we come alive in a way like never before. It sparks renewal in our lives and changes our hearts. We begin to care about the people around us and desire to share the love we have received. As followers of Christ, we have the responsibility of living like Christ; this means doing more listening than talking, showing more interest in others than we do ourselves, and choosing understanding over being understood. If we live in this way, and share what Christ has done for us, we can be agents of God’s Kingdom for the healing of the world. No matter who you are or what you do, you have a story to share with the world so that the good news of Jesus Christ can spread To The Ends of the Earth.

Just knowing about God is not enough! It is unfulfilling, incomplete, and not glorifying to God. But when God opens the eyes of our hearts, there is a new undeniable reality that overflows with hospitality and the goodness. This amazing reality that was available to Lydia in Acts 16, is available to all of us.
