An Advent Journey
This season we will be finding joy in the true story of Christmas. The events surrounding the birth of Jesus illuminate the Bible’s message of salvation in the promised Messiah. Because of Jesus, we can have hope for our lives today.
Hope: A Light Has Dawned | November 27 | Pastor Austin White
The reality is, there is darkness in our world. Every day we can see it and feel it, and many days we must face it, but scripture tells us of a Light which has dawned upon this land of deep darkness. What is that Light? And how can we begin to see it dawning in our lives once more? When we let this Light into our hearts, hope is born in our lives.

Peace: Have A “Mary” Christmas | December 4 | Pastor Dale Hippensteel
Mary, the mother of Jesus, faced many hardships and so much was weighing on her during her pregnancy. However, the real story of Mary’s life was how blessed she was and how much she treasured this gift of her pregnancy. Despite what she faced, she took joy in being chosen by God. While Jesus was dwelling inside of her (literally), she felt peace about what was happening and embraced the joy of carrying Jesus.

Joseph: Faith or Foolish? | December 11 | Pastor Dale Parker
We can rejoice because God became one of us and God is with us! The title of Emmanuel gave Joseph the courage he needed to carry out his marriage with Mary and raise Jesus as his own. Despite our weary world, Jesus as Emmanuel offers us the same courage to live as faithful and joyful followers of Christ.
