Holiness is not merely an ancient description of the old saints nor is it about legalism, ritualistic requirements, and religious practices enforced by the hierarchy of the church. Holiness is a gift made possible by Jesus who is both the high priest and the supreme sacrifice. In receiving this gift, we become pure, honorable, and filled with the best of God’s goodness. It is a priceless gift that should never be mocked or exploited.
