November in the Preschool
This month in preschool, the children will be preparing for Thanksgiving. They will learn about the Pilgrims and their Native American Indian friends and the first Thanksgiving. We will even have our own Thanksgiving Feast to celebrate the holiday.
We asked each child in our 4’s class to tell me something they are thankful for. Here are their responses:
Abel: “My Daddy and Mama, Mrs. Ciepiela and Mrs. Schaeberle”
Braxton: “Mommy, all my friends, Michael and Daddy”
Cora: “My friend Bella”
Elliot: “Liam and my toys—especially my pirate sword”
Kohen: “Digging trucks”
Liam: “My friend Elliot”
Michael: “My Mommy and my toys”
Parker: “My box of trucks”
Reid: “My Mom and Dad”
Scarlett: “My dog Roxie and Savannah”
Seraphima: “Hugging my Mama”
Sophia: “My friend Cora”
Sydney: “My brother”
This month for our “Caring & Sharing Project,” the children will be invited to donate nonperishable food items for the Aldersgate Food Run.
Thanksgiving is a great time for all of us to reflect on the blessings God has given us!
I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with family and friends.
