It is easy to let the current headlines stress us out. With the temporary closure of businesses and the Stock Market drastically going up and down; finances could be a personal concern. Maybe you find yourself worried about the church finances as well. Fortunately, God has blessed us with His Word, and it provides guidance for every situation; including finances.
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” (Matthew 6:26-27)
Personally, I find it hard to completely erase worry from my mind, however scriptures like these are very reassuring. I know God will provide for both my immediate and church families.
Know that our church finances were good heading into this unforeseen and challenging time. I am confident they will continue to be in a good state as long as we are following God’s lead.
For those who want to give their tithes and offerings even when we are not present at church; we offer you a few safe, easy and viable options for you to consider. First, the church office continues to remain open from 9 to 5, Monday through Friday; so if you would like to mail or drop off your tithe and offering, you may continue to do so. On the other hand, if you have been meaning to discover what online giving is all about, now is the perfect time to do that. Please refer to the information that follows to determine if and which method is right for you. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the office at 717-854-4276 and they will be glad to assist you.
Lastly, if any of you are struggling financially, as a family or an individual, please reach out to Judy Sterner. ([email protected] or 717-854-4276, ext. 19) God does His work through those of us who are called to do His will, your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Stay healthy and God bless.
