Advent at Aldersgate Church
Advent is here! This is a season where we await the arrival of our savior, but despite the waiting, it is often a busy time of year. With all the gifts, cooking, traveling, baking, family events, and gift wrapping, our focus tends to waver and our energy fades. However, here at Aldersgate we are intentionally creating space in our lives to pause, reflect, and join in with the story of the season as it’s told. Let us not become too busy with the holiday that we forget the importance of meeting Jesus. Below are some ways you can engage in the story of Jesus’ birth with us here at Aldersgate. May these worship services and events be a blessing to you this Advent season.
Advent Worship Series | 9:00 AM Contemporary | 10:30 AM Traditional | Livestreamed and In-person
This year, as we await the birth of our Savior, we will not be waiting until Christmas Day to unwrap the gift of his Presence in our lives. In our Advent worship series, we are preparing for Christ’s birth by Unwrapping the Names of Jesus! Each Sunday from November 28th to January 2nd, we will unwrap a new name that reveals an aspect of Jesus’ identity and character, preparing us for the joy of his incarnation.
