While all Christian receive the Holy Spirit on the day that they were ‘born again’, not all Christian yield to the Holy Spirit or at the same rate. On the other hand, those Christians who continue to daily surrender their will and ways for the glory of God will display the fruit of the Spirit and their gift(s) of the Spirit. Most of all, there is a major transformation of the attitude. When the fullness of God and His grace, love, and mercy is within us, we come to realize that we have received far more than what we are worthy in receiving. Our cups overflow. We feel complete and fulfilled and over abundantly blessed. This over-abundance of God causes us to be extremely grateful and we express this gratitude in worship. We also long to know more about the Giver (God) so we have a hunger for the Word of God. Who is this God who desires to bless us? Even in trials, we praise God because we know He is greater and if He can save our souls from condemnation, He can save our souls from anything. Hence, we sing in storms as much as we do when we are sailing on a calm day. Amen?

Week 10 (05.24) – Spirit-Controlled Church Members (Download our week 10 study guide by clicking here).
Spirit-filled Christians become like Jesus Christ. We surrender our selfish pride and become submissive to municipalities and marketplaces. We become submissive in our marriages, in our membership at the church, and to our leaders. Where we could claim our rights and status, we choose to be humble, compassionate, understanding, and forgiving. This behavior is impossible unless the Spirit of God is within us.

Week 12 (06.14) – Spirit-Led Workplaces (Download our week 12 study guide by clicking here).
We discover that the workplace can be a sacred place or (at least a mission field) when employees and employers are led by the Spirit of God. Whoever we are, whatever position, or whatever we do, we are to do it unto the Lord and the Holy Spirit gives us an attitude of gratitude and mutual submission for the greater good of the workforce. Giving our best to the Master makes us a better employee and employer.

Week 13 (06.21) – When the Spirit Controls Your Life (Download our week 13 study guide by clicking here).
The Holy Spirit will not only change the heart, the mind, and soul, but the Holy Spirit will change our future. Receiving the confidence of a new identity, new perspective, and a new purpose, we are able to see, hear, and know the things of God. Instead of being in control over the details of our life and being affected by circumstances and oppositions, we simply follow God through the Holy Spirit and live a non-anxious life.
