Our Christmas Gift and Craft Show on November 10th was an amazing success with wonderful vendors, and an abundance of visitors and shoppers! We thank all who supported our Bake Sale by your donations and purchases, as well as your purchases of soup and sandwiches.
We’ll report next month just how much was raised for our missions outreach during this next year. We are blessed with an amazing group of women who oversee and staff this event, as well as many gentlemen who help with the heavy work!
December 13th, our group will be packing gift bags for our homebound members and those who reside in retirement and nursing facilities. We give cookies, candies, small gifts of toiletries, and other useful items. If you would like to participate by donating something to this outreach project, please let Dot Miller, Carol Grossman, or Sherry Smith know.
We will prepare about 28 gift bags and though many of our members take bags to deliver and visit with these members, we are always looking for a few more people willing to take a bag and spend some very special time visiting with members who can no longer get to worship, but really look forward to visits from friends old and new. A visit like this just might make your own holiday a bit brighter too!
