Advent is a Time of Preparation. It is a Time When We Prepare Our Homes and Our Hearts for the Coming of Christ. We are surrounded by songs and traditions of this most blessed holiday – Christmas.
Reflecting on Advent, I am reminded that we are always to be in preparation for the coming of our Lord. Just as we prepare our homes for the arrival of friends and family, we are to prepare for the arrival of Him. Our hearts are to continually be in a state of a anticipation for Jesus’ arrival, not only during the Advent season, but each and every day.
