It’s Time to meet and welcome Pastor Dale and his wife, Tami, on July 6th and 7th.
It’s Time to be reminded of the WET Team Report recommending that we build Fellowship Time into Sundays and adjust the beginning of the Contemporary Service to a later time, preferably 9:15AM.
It’s Time to be challenged to accept changes to our Sunday schedule and work together to allow for these transitions to take place, realizing that not all will be perfect on Day 1.
It’s Time to consider how each of us can assist in making the NEW and IMPROVED Aldersgate the best it can be.
- Will you offer to serve as a teacher or a helper during either of the Sunday School timeframes?
- Will you commit to serve in the Gathering Place during Fellowship Times?
- Will you lend a hand and willingly learn how to work with the Tech Teams to ensure Services run efficiently?
- How will you serve God this year through the ministries at Aldersgate?
It’s Time for prayer and meditation, asking God what ministry He has prepared and equipped you for. This is not the time to remain in your comfort zone and just sit in the audience. More hands are needed on deck as we work together by sharing our time, gifts and talents so that others may grow in their faith and we can cheer them on to Victory in Jesus.
It’s Time to not only acknowledge our 1990’s infrastructure and facilities are in desperate need of being updated; but it is most important to commit, as did congregations before us, to take action.
It’s Time to decide how we are going to extend the celebration of the 4th of July into the weekend of the 6th and 7th so as to commemorate the arrival of our new Pastor and his wife, Tami; as they begin their Ministry at Aldersgate. Are you READY?
